Below is a list of partners offering benefits to European Disability Card holders. Would you like to know which benefits they offer? Take a look on their website or contact them directly. We update the list regularly, but some partners may not yet be listed. Moreover, there are also organisations, institutions, etc. that do not use the European Disability Card, but still offer benefits or assistance to people with disabilities. So ask about it when you want to participate in an activity.

  • Gewoon Wij - Fotografie

    I offer a 15% discount on a child and/or family photo shoot as well as a party shoot if an EDC can be shown. I also offer extra the use of tools such as time timer, pictograms scheme for preparation, a voice recording or photo of myself, ... That what is needed to ensure that everyone can be themselves during the photo shoot.

    • With your European Disability Card or a companion pass, your companion gets free admission to the performance.
    • To purchase your tickets, please send an email to cultuurtickets@mechelen.be. This way we can also provide a suitable wheelchair space if needed.

  • IVEBICA Hemiksem-Schelle-Niel Culture Service

    From Hemiksem-Schelle-Niel's cultural department we organise lots of activities. From concerts and theatre to comedy and workshops.
    • The cultural department of IVEBICA Hemiksem-Schelle-Niel provides guidance and supervision to make the European Disability Card holder's experience as optimal as possible. If necessary, individual guidance can be provided by appointment.
    • The culture service will do its utmost to remove any possible physical obstacles to their activities.
    • Every card holder can count on free access for his or her companion. The cardholder only has to pay for his or her own admission.
    • For our activities, the most suitable available place will be made available (in consultation with the cardholder).
    • Finally, all possible efforts will be made to have persons with a European Disability Card serve as volunteers and/or members of an advisory board.
    • Upon request, you will receive an overview of the services that can be counted on via the European Disability Card. If necessary, the Culture Service will additionally try to find a tailor-made solution for EDC holders to enjoy the services on offer.
