Welcome to the Zwin Nature Park, the 'International bird airport'.
The Zwin Nature Park is an interactive nature experience park for the entire family, young and old. The park consists of a Visitor Center with reception and exhibition areas, a cabin trail that takes you to all kinds of experience points, an Observation Centre with a panoramic view across the Zwin Plain and the Zwin Plain, the tidal area of the Zwin with a unique wealth of plants and animals. Guides are available at the experience points in the park and you can walk in the Zwin Plain on signposted routes.
Your companian will receive free access to the Zwin Nature Park. The Visitor Center and the cabin trail are accessible to wheelchairs. The Zwin Plain and the forest path in the Zwin Nature Park are not accessible for wheelchairs. There is a recommended route for people who are partially sighted or blind. They will particularly enjoy the listening hut and listening dune. We have 4 all-terrain wheelchairs available for the less accessible routes, free of charge. The wheelchairs can be reserved in advance. The car park has nine spaces for people with reduced mobility and all the toilets in the Zwin Nature Park are accessible to people with mobility limitations.
