Below is a list of partners offering benefits to European Disability Card holders. Would you like to know which benefits they offer? Take a look on their website or contact them directly. We update the list regularly, but some partners may not yet be listed. Moreover, there are also organisations, institutions, etc. that do not use the European Disability Card, but still offer benefits or assistance to people with disabilities. So ask about it when you want to participate in an activity.

  • Municipality and Social House Wielsbeke

    European Disability Card benefits are also available in Wielsbeke, in municipal leisure activities: 
    • Free membership in Library Bibox
    • At cultural performances organised by the cultural department, seats can be reserved at the front or aisle.
    • It is also possible to enter the auditorium earlier and in peace and quiet.
    • Possible extra support at the holiday work or youth activities.
    • Reduced fees for swimming pool Sports Centre Hernieuwenburg.

  • City of Antwerpen

    The city of Antwerp has been committed to equality and diversity for years. By being a partner of the European Disability Card, the city wants to improve access to the city's leisure offerings and enable a full range of leisure activities for every visitor. You can use the EDC card in the city of Antwerp in places such as:
    • The urban swimming pools: companions of people with disabilities have free access, assistance can be provided, a free wheelchair can be loaned for use in the wet areas ...
    • The urban museums: measures vary from museum to museum. For example, you can lend a wheelchair, there are low-stimulus visits (MAS), there are guided tours with a focus on audio and touch for visually impaired people and for people with dementia (DIVA) or the room texts can be delivered in advance (Red Star Line)
    • Urban cultural and meeting centres: measures vary from centre to centre. For example, you can reserve in advance a wheelchair-accessible seat at or borrow headphones to receive the loop.
