We update the list regularly, but some partners may not yet be listed. Moreover, there are also organisations, institutions, etc. that do not use the European Disability Card, but still offer benefits or assistance to people with disabilities. So ask about it when you want to participate in an activity.

Provincial domain Het Vinne

Provinciedomein Het Vinne is a nature reserve situated on the largest natural lake in Flanders. You can enjoy the peace and quiet and the unique view for free. Children can romp around in a play forest and nature playground. After a walk you can visit Bistro Het Vinne for a snack and a drink.

Japanese Garden in Hasselt

Free entry for any disabled person + 1 accompanying person. The Japanese Garden contains a few places that are not accessible by wheelchair such as the Zigzag Bridge and the stepping stones at the waterfall but provides an alternative route in its place.

Atlantikwall Raversyde

On presentation of the European Disability card, the cardholder receives a €2 discount on the standard adult admission price. One free accompanying person is also admitted per cardholder. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets and changing tables. Baby carriers are also available at the counter. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere on Atlantikwall Raversyde. The paths on Battery Aachen (WWI) are paved in shell sand allowing wheelchairs to pass through this section if accompanied. Battery Saltzwedel-neu (WWII) cannot be visited with a wheelchair. The park in the Provincial Domain Atlantikwall Raversyde can be visited by wheelchair without any problems.

Zwin Nature Park

Welcome to the Zwin Nature Park, the 'International bird airport'. The Zwin Nature Park is an interactive nature experience park for the entire family, young and old. The park consists of a Visitor Center with reception and exhibition areas, a cabin trail that takes you to all kinds of experience points, an Observation Centre with a panoramic view across the Zwin Plain and the Zwin Plain, the tidal area of the Zwin with a unique wealth of plants and animals. Guides are available at the experience points in the park and you can walk in the Zwin Plain on signposted routes. Your companian will receive free access to the Zwin Nature Park. The Visitor Center and the cabin trail are accessible to wheelchairs. The Zwin Plain and the forest path in the Zwin Nature Park are not accessible for wheelchairs. There is a recommended route for people who are partially sighted or blind. They will particularly enjoy the listening hut and listening dune. We have 4 all-terrain wheelchairs available for the less accessible routes, free of charge. The wheelchairs can be reserved in advance. The car park has nine spaces for people with reduced mobility and all the toilets in the Zwin Nature Park are accessible to people with mobility limitations.
