Moreover, there are also organisations, institutions, etc. that do not use the European Disability Card, but still offer benefits or assistance to people with disabilities. So ask about it when you want to participate in an activity.

Companions of visitors with disabilities get free entry: 1 companion per wheelchair user or 1 companion per 2 visitors with disabilities if they do not use a wheelchair. Technopolis is easily accessible by wheelchair. A ramp is provided to go from the upper to the lower floor and a lift can be used on request.

  • City of Kapelle-op-den-Bos

    As a local authority, we organise various leisure activities for different target groups. We take care to make each activity as low-threshold and accessible as possible. The community centre de oude pastorie in Nieuwenrode is the place to go if you are interested in culture and meeting people. At the library, in turn, you can find the latest and greatest books. In September and June we have a fair in our municipality. Together with the proprietors, it was agreed to provide a low-incentive time so that people who are highly sensitive can also enjoy themselves. In summer, our leisure service also provides some inclusive playgrounds accessible to children with disabilities.
