Benefits with the card

We update the list regularly, but some partners may not yet be listed. • Unisound ASBL

Unisound ASBL is an association of young people working on the organisation of the Unisound Festival, a musical and festive project aiming to promote an inclusive and accessible society for all. Indeed, access to Unisound is not exclusively reserved for people with disabilities. Rather, it is a project of inclusion and encounter that is accessible to all people, with or without disabilities. Therefore, Unisound is a festival open to everyone, while being specifically dedicated to accessibility. We want to show the need to include everyone in public leisure activities as much as possible. Culture is a central part of our lives and should be accessible to all, without exception. Our aim is that our festival-goers with disabilities will no longer be afraid to enter other major festivals later on. other major festivals later on. This is our role in integration: to overcome fears, to reassure, to open up new horizons. But the idea is also to show the non-disabled public the real need to experience culture in society and the beauty of integrating everyone. It is to live the experience together, without the invisible barriers that separate us, and to act as a springboard. It is the first step towards more autonomy and initiative. More concretely, the main objective of the festival is to offer a quality cultural event with a careful musical programme in a 100% adapted setting. This means that each type of disability will benefit from its own adaptations in order to be able to enjoy the festival experience to the full. Example of adaptations:
    • Logistics: Rubber matting, PRM toilets and stewards, clear signage, adapted ticket office/bar heights, closed site, etc.
    • Concerts: Audio descriptor, interpretation of concerts in sign language, induction loop to play music in hearing aids, balloons to feel the vibrations, etc.
    • Well-being: Nursing zone with medical staff, rest area, microwave and mixer, etc

  • Crammerock

In 2022, Crammerock had the Flemish accessibility expertise centre INTER carry out a screening around the accessibility of the music festival. Although very commendable efforts were already made, many areas for improvement emerged. In 2023 and following years, Crammerock wants to focus on inclusion and accessibility in particular and wants to take a pioneering role within the event sector with this project.
